Free Computer Training classes
The world is changing and expanding at an exponential rate and it is coming closer day by day. Gone are the days where you had to sneak in the libraries to impart yourselves with knowledge. Gone are the days when you had to roam around looking for jobs and new opportunities to learn. Every opportunity is at your doorstep just a click away. And this integration of knowledge and information was achieved by computers.
A computer is one such package deal no one can ever get enough of. It has everything one needs to develop and broaden his ideology, thought process; knowledge and also can provide aid with everything. From simple record keeping to calculations of the universe, painting to scribbling, computers do it all. With the expanding areas of information and technology, computer literacy is the need of the hour.
Empowerment through education is a philanthropic motto of NAD. With this brighter cause, I contributed my share by co-ordinating and being a faculty to the free computer training classes organised by ACT@2006. These free computer training classes included the introduction to the basic whereabouts of the computer, its hardware and software operation. This was further enhanced by imparting knowledge about the various computer operations that can be used in day to day life. It included Microsoft office, calculators, notepad, WordPad, paint etc. Also, various media applications and elaborate lessons on the use of internet were given in these free computer training classes. This ensured the students were able to perform simple actions on the computer and use the internet for browsing, mailing etc. Practical handling of computers was made available at the free computer training classes which was the cherry on the cake.
Indeed these computer training classes were splendid learning experiences!
